Senior / Lead Software Engineer – C++ Dungloe, Co. Donegal. €Excellent DOE. Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now looking for a Senior / Lead Software Engineer to join their team in Dungloe. As the Senior / Lead Software Engineer, you’ll join a team of passionate, talented Software Engineers and work alongside Scientists, Mathematicians, Embedded Systems Engineers, Design Engineers, and Software Testers. This incredible team is tasked with creating a new generation of diagnostic solutions and world-class products and technologies that will drive forward our client’s portfolio of solutions. Software Engineers with our client are passionate about new high quality solutions, automated testing and continuous integration, and refining solutions to make sure they lead the industry. You’ll have the chance to learn cutting-edge technologies and work across a variety of disciplines every day. Joining a dynamic research and development environment, you’ll be an integral part of an agile, iterative development and will work, almost exclusively, on new development activities. Interested? To be considered, you will need experience of the following: - Extensive software development with the majority being in C# - At least one of the following: WPF, UWP, Silverlight, Xamarin or Windows forms. - PostgreSQL or a similar relational database. - Unit testing. - Linux Shell Scripting. - Git, CVS or another source control toolset. - All stages of the SDLC. - UML modelling. - Requirements gathering. - Mentoring developers. The ideal Senior / Lead Software Engineer will also have knowledge of EN 62304 and ISO 14971. Experience of the following would also be beneficial (but not essential): leading developers and software project delivery, working in an engineering team, developing software within a controlled process, communicating with and controlling embedded software devices, writing commercial applications on Linux, working within a regulated environment, and/or C, C# or Delphi.
